<description>Hate to tell you, but I LOVE Sting! He looks pretty damn good for a 55-year-old guy!

I never saw the Police in concert, but I would like to.

I know what you mean, though, about the memories being better than the reunion.

<description>i saw the police at the l.a. forum in the 80's....i can't remember the year, but it was way before they started to suck. it was one of the very first concerts i had ever been to and it was one of the very BEST shows i have ever seen. they were on fire, especially the drummer. i want to hold that memory dear and that is why i won't go see the reunion tour. even if they shred it. i almost went to see the pretenders here in new zealand, but avoided it in order to protect my precious memories of them in their heydey. shit, the image of the (large and bloated) b52's reunion remains burnt in my mind forever...haunting...and that was just something i saw on t.v.

<description>I saw Police in concert in the late 70s, when their second album came out (concert was in Vancouver) - and I walked out half way thru! Every song sounded exactly like the album. Nothing different. I don't know what I was expecting, but I remember a Talking Heads concert from the same year that was incredible. I searched YouTube to find a video of last night's performance - should have come here first!!
